Amoz Wright is a multi-disciplinary artist and cultural architect dedicated to redefining the intersection of faith, art, and entrepreneurship. As the co-founder of Golden Street, Amoz has transitioned from a classically trained designer to a community leader, securing major capital and establishing the Golden Street Underground Market as a premier destination for contemporary art in Chicago. His work, which spans from large-scale public murals featured on NBC and CBS to set-pieces on Showtime’s The Chi, serves as a visual testimony to his divine calling.

This visionary drive is rooted in a generational legacy of craftsmanship. Initially mentored by his mother, whose masterful painting first ignited his artistic journey, Amoz later apprenticed under his father, Malik Wright, a skilled carpenter. This early exposure to the marriage of manual labor and entrepreneurial grit shaped his work ethic and technical range, while his siblings continue to inspire him to push beyond conventional horizons. Today, his greatest catalyst for growth is his transition into life as a husband and father. These roles have infused his work with a new sense of urgency and stewardship, driving him to build a global creative empire that serves as a blueprint for his own family’s future.

With a global perspective honed at the Australian Catholic University and a BFA from DePaul, Amoz is currently architecting a multimedia franchise centered on his comic book and film series currently in preproduction. Whether he is mentoring the next generation of innovators at Thornton Township High School or collaborating on nationwide mural projects, Amoz is building a legacy that bridges the gap between sacred narratives and commercial excellence.
